Zira Jewels story started in the capital of Hungary. Budapest is our home and it’s truly one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. After spending a majority of our time in Asia we always look forward to going home in summertime and spending the holiday with friends and family.
Budapest is always full of surprises and this summer was no different.
As we arrive in this great city my must-do activity is to stroll in this beautiful city walking through the Vaci street from Ferenciek tere. To feel the vibe and the energy of the city; the scents, the sense of style city dwellers and tourists is something to see. It’s always a treat to see the old stores juxtaposed to the clique boutiques of the new very talented designers and fashion artists.
Vorosmarty ter and Café Gerbeaud is a great destination for a delicious afternoon treat. As we pass through Deak Ferenc ter Andrassy boulevard on our afternoon stroll, I am amazed by the beauty of my city. There is just so much to take in from the gorgeous neo-renaissance mansions to the lovely townhouses, Budapest is truly one of the most unique destinations in the world.
My beloved Budapest is also were we host our family reunions and get-togethers every year. It is so wonderful to spend leisurely afternoons and relaxing nights with friends in this city. Budapest has the most eclectic and stylish bars hidden behind older more modest apartment houses, it is always a pleasant surprise to find these hidden gems.
Look at that beautiful choker that my close friend Klari is wearing!!! It is available at the Zira Jewels online shop HERE.
Summers are also a very important time of year for production of the newest Zira Jewels lines. My father a very talented man in his own right, is an engineer, musician, and dare I say creative genius (he is my dad after-all) In addition to his own jewelry line, he is also responsible for the wood inspired designs. My father has worked tirelessly this summer to help bring our creations to life, he has introduced many new kinds of very colorful, exotic woods that accentuate our pieces. I can honestly say that Dad is a true artist and wonderful craftsman. If you would like to see more of his creations please have a look at his website at: www.na-designs.com.
